Day 75: Tuolumne Meadows Lodge - Spiller Creek (mi 941-960)

Very late start today, as both of us were poorly nourished from our lack of eating the day before. We started out easily just before 11, and didn't hit proper trail on the north side of hwy 120 until after noon. It was a hot and lethargic day, to boot, as we dragged across the beautiful valley bottom en route to the Glen Aulin trail camp. We crossed paths with sour cream and fam several times, then stopped for a late lunch at the camp next to a waterfall. I swam and ate lots of brownies. Biting flies started to supplement mosquitoes. We finished the bulk of our miles after lunch, hiking mainly through  forests and meadows plagued with mosquitoes. We finished with several large creek crossings, then climbed several hundred feet up. Dinner consisted of whatever we couldn't fit into our bear cans, and I started a small fire to burn all the flammable waste. An hour later, the fire was safely out and both in bed.
